Your 7 Days / 6 Nights Kerala and Tamil Nadu pilgrimage tour begins at Kochi International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station. Meet your driver and start the journey to Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple.

Chottanikkara is one of Kerala’s most important Bhagavathy temples. The Divine Mother is worshipped in three forms during the day: Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at noon and Durga in the evening. Mahavishnu is also worshipped on the same pedestal.

After darshan, continue to Guruvayur. Check in at the pre-booked hotel and relax overnight.

Guruvayur to Coimbatore

Guruvayur Temple, Mammiyur, Chavakkad and Adiyogi Light Show

After breakfast, begin Guruvayur sightseeing with darshan at Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple and Mammiyur Mahadeva Temple. A nearby Parthasarathy Temple may also be included depending on time.

Possible local attractions include Chavakkad Beach, Chettuva Backwaters and boating, and the Guruvayur elephant camp, subject to opening and visitor access.

Later, travel to Coimbatore. In the evening, visit the Isha Yoga Center and experience the Adiyogi Shiva statue and light show, subject to the scheduled programme.

Coimbatore to Palani

Isha Yoga Center and Palani Murugan Temple

After breakfast, explore the Isha Yoga Center and the 112-foot Adiyogi Shiva statue before beginning the journey to Palani.

Visit Palani Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes of Lord Muruga and one of Tamil Nadu’s most revered pilgrimage centres.

According to mythology, Lord Muruga came to the Palani Hills after the divine fruit of wisdom was awarded to Ganesha. Palani is therefore deeply associated with wisdom, renunciation and Muruga’s grace.

Complete darshan and proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Palani to Madurai

Marudhamalai, Kovai Kutralam and Madurai Heritage

Continue to the Gandhi Memorial Museum, which preserves photographs, documents and artefacts associated with Mahatma Gandhi and India’s freedom movement.
