Full-Day Sightseeing Local Munnar Route Meals: Breakfast

After a traditional breakfast, begin a full day of Munnar sightseeing. Visit Kundala Arch Dam and Mattupetty Dam, surrounded by green hills and tea estates.

Continue to Echo Point, one of Munnar’s popular scenic attractions, before proceeding to Eravikulam National Park. The park is known for its mountain landscapes and Nilgiri tahr, subject to seasonal opening, ticket availability and Forest Department rules.

Later, visit the Rose Garden and enjoy Munnar’s cool climate and plantation scenery. Return to the hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.

Munnar to Thekkady

Periyar Boating, Elephant Experience, Spice Garden and Jeep Safari

Approx. 110 km Approx. 3.5 Hours Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, check out from the Munnar hotel and travel to Thekkady. On arrival, visit Periyar Tiger Reserve for the famous boating experience.

Regular boating slots are generally at 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Visitors should report around 45 minutes before the selected timing.

After boating, optional activities can include elephant riding, elephant bathing, a guided spice and Ayurveda plantation visit and different jeep safari routes. Sathram off-road jeep safari and longer jungle routes offer mountain, plantation and forest experiences, subject to weather and local operating conditions.
